Yoojin Ko

Hello, I am from South Korea and currently living in London. I love exploring new technologies and I am passionate about Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. I work as a Localisation QA tester in SEGA Europe in the daytime and work as a freelancer software engineer in my free time. I thrive on challenges, developing solutions to problems, and learning new skills to help this. I am fascinated by using computer coding skills to solve issues, an example of this is my creation of customized testing tools for my current role that I created from scratch. I regard myself as a motivated, creative, and goal-oriented individual. While I was searching for my new career, I got a scholarship from the Korean government and enrolled in the Software Engineering Training course. To become professionally qualified, I enrolled in the online bachelor course. This usually takes 4 years to complete but I finished it with a 4.31 out of 4.5 scores in 1 and a half years while I was working full-time at SEGA. I work well under pressure and value teamwork. During my time working at SEGA I have been fortunate enough to get very positive feedback from managers including an acknowledgment that I am performing above and beyond my role.
