York Schilling

As the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at China Aircraft Services Limited (CASL), York Schilling oversees all commercial aspects of the company, such as customer relationship management, business development, branding, and revenue generation. He has been in this role since December 2022, after joining CASL from Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd. (GAMECO), where he was a Director of Sales for key accounts. York Schilling has almost 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, with a strong background in engineering, customer service, MRO management, and sales. He started his career as a Customer Support Engineer for Lufthansa Technik Engine Service in Hamburg, and later held various leadership roles in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, where he built and managed teams, projects, and partnerships with global customers and suppliers. He holds an MSc degree in aeronautical engineering from TU Dresden and an MBA from UNISA. He is passionate about customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and team building, and has a proven track record of delivering results and value in a competitive and dynamic market.
