Yuce Ma

With over five years' exploration and accumulation in civil engineering, I am confident and ambitious to start my career as a structural engineer. After having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam in Civil Engineering, I am sure for being qualified to become a structural designer. Graduating from University of California, Irvine in June 2016, now I am fully active to become an engineer in structural design/seismic analysis. Focusing on structural analysis, I am dealing with projects related to seismic design method. After over a year study in structural design at UCIrvine, now I have deeper understanding in Capacity design.I also have experience with concrete and steel design according to code(CBC,AISC,etc) using SAP2000, Etabs, and Auto CAD. Besides, as a group of two, we finished programming a calculator for Direct Displacement-Based Design method using Visual Basic. I also completed research in optimization of metro transfer station design during my undergraduate program. Now I am fully prepare to start my career in structural engineering!
