The novelty of the trade is that it combines two features: 1/ an application is being sold abroad 2/ an application is being sold “in retail manner”, in every contracting state to the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). Owners of patent applications propose their items in a number of foreign countries where they would like to sell their priority rights because they have not got any means to exploit them by themselves.
