Yves G. Martin

Involved with companies in need of major organizational and cultural changes for over three decades, Yves Martin has served as their Chief Executive for the last eighteen years. This, both in turnaround and high-growth environments, whether with private-equity backed or public companies. Throughout his career Yves developped a deep understanding of service businesses and store formats/networks, through a diversified range of industries. He also gained a true experience of major European markets and did a number of extended professional stays in the US and Asia. After serving 5 years as Chairman of the Board of G2C, a small privately held company under LBO, Yves currently sits on the Board of Denis Materiaux, a family owned distributor of construction materials. He also acts as an Operating Partner with OpenGate Capital, a private equity firm operating in the lower-to-middle market in North America and Europe. Yves holds a graduate degree in economics from Sciences Po in Paris and obtained his MBA from Harvard Business School. A dual citizen, French and American, he currently lives in Paris, France.
