Formerly Senior Food Service Supervisor at the old Royal Adelaide Hospital (8 years) I was contracted in the Employee Services Manager role for 1 year 6 months supporting the Food Service Department through to closure of the old RAH, in this role I was managing contracts, maintaining adequate staffing levels ( temporary contracts through ERecruitment-arranged approval to employ then advertising, interviews, hiring, ensured compliance with HR requirements -panel reports, police clearances, medicals, banking details, arranged orientation and training. I monitored 67 temporary contracts across 4 SA Health sites and ensured extension approvals were in place as needed (generally extensions of approximately 3 months at a time) An increasingly large part of the role was assisting permanent staff through redeployment and Voluntary Separation Package processes. Upon RAH closure I was redeployed in my substantive role as Senior Supervisor at TQEH Prior to the substantive RAH Supervisor role I worked for 8 years at Calvary Wakefield Hospital commencing as an inexperienced casual and progressing through the various roles (catering assistant, diet monitor, cafe assistant, team leader) to ultimately finishing there as full time kitchen supervisor.
