Zachary Galen

I make it an ambition of mine to never stop learning nor achieving. From the age of three years old, I would always purloin my parents' camera from the kitchen cabinet and take among the most frivolous photographs known to man. Whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always answer, "photographer." No, not a policeman, firefighter, rockstar, or superhero. That passion has since blossomed into the diligent worker I am today. With no acceptance for error, I continue to exploit maximum effort in everything I do. In 2019, I graduated with Highest Honors from Beverly Hills High School due to outstanding academic achievement. While enrolled, I completed a multitude of school-centered projects that significantly boosted the school's output of quality content. I also seized multiple internship opportunities and got my work published in The Duxbury Times newspaper. After being in my school's "Intro to Broadcast Studies" course for only two months, I quickly became the senior editor and producer, overseeing all media courses at my school. This earned me the Outstanding Achievement in Producing, Directing, Editing, and Hosting Award. I also garnered experience to begin to construct an IMDb profile with my work, including after having placed bronze in SkillsUSA Digital Cinema production against the Los Angeles County. It is through my eclectic experiences that my drive continues to flourish. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Occidental College, where I earned Dean's List due to having received straight A's during my first three semesters. Courtesy of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, I was also awarded a one-year student membership to NewFilmmakers Los Angeles, an organization dedicated to the distribution and production of independent film and art. I am currently partaking in a part-time digital media production role with one of my mentors, where I supervise and produce endless revolutionary digital content. I intend to graduate with Honors as Summa Cum Laude, yet even that is not enough.
