I am a motivated self-starter and a producer of trusted work. A Marine Corps veteran with extensive Clinical Laboratory Science and Information Technology experience. As the Department Lead in QA at an accredited clinical laboratory, I organized operations within my department and led my team in document control, compliance and Quality Improvement procedures while managing our production operations workflow. I assisted in the development of a Report Writer and spear-headed the development of a successful online Physician Portal. As the LIS Administrator, I work in coordination with Laboratory Management to maintain, modify and test all LIS modules and associated software (e.g. Interface systems, reporting software) ensuring they operate accurately and efficiently and are compliant to requirements established by authorized personnel. I am trusted to compile data using MS-SQL and MS-SSRS as needed by Executive Management, Operations and Sales and am accomplished in the QA and presentation of these data.
