Zachary M. Oliver, PgMP, PMP

In short, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast with a passion for project management. Having hiked over 2,000 miles throughout the state of Washington, I am now turning a majority of my attention toward the pursuit of advanced certifications in project and program management. As the discipline is still young, the prospect of being able to catapult myself to the forefront and stay ahead of the curve is what motivates me. I am a graduate of the University of Washington Professional & Continuing Education, having earned certificates in Project Management and Lean Six Sigma Management: Green Belt. I am also a certified Project Management Professional and a certified Program Management Professional through the Project Management Institute. In the midst of this, I have not completely lost sight of my favorite pastimes. Whether backpacking, camping, climbing, or hiking, I play hard. Recently, I have realized the importance and reaped the personal benefits of community involvement surrounding these activities. I began volunteering with the Washington Trails Association in August 2019 and am currently working toward fulfilling requirements that will allow me to join Everett Mountain Rescue. I feel it is important to not remain idle in life but to keep developing both personally and professionally; this is why I am constantly setting new goals.
