Zachary Spadt

I've been a reporter covering parts of Wyoming and western Nebraska for six years. I got my start at my hometown paper, the Northern Wyoming Daily News in Worland, Wyoming in 2015. After failing a color vision test for a job in an unrelated field, I got an offer to start in Worland a few weeks later. I told the editor I would give it a shot and see how it went. The better part of a decade later, I find myself sitting in the news director chair at Wyoming's oldest radio station — KTWO. I love showing people how important local Wyoming journalism is through our actual reporting or mentoring new reporters. I've covered everything from local sports at several weekly papers, to riding in a tractor with a sugar beet farmer (Basin Republican-Rustler) to homicide trials (KTWO Radio).
