I am currently attending Oakland University for a Master's of Science in Chemistry. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry from Saginaw Valley State University. My current role is for AGS Automotive systems as the plating chemist where I complete the analytical testing for the plating baths. Previously I was a contractor for General Motors as a inorganic analytical chemist. My other experience includes a contract research technician at BASF in the thermoplastic polyurethanes group along with two internships at BASF working on a project with polyurethane foams for carpet re-bonding and elastomers for a dialysis tube coating. I participated in undergraduate research at Saginaw Valley State University with the project involving the optimization of image acquisition for paper fluidic devices that test for Nitrates and Nitrites in surface water.
