Overall 17 years of banking experience including Corporate Banking, Risk Management, Trade Finance, Credit Operations, SME- Branch Banking, Global Risk Review function, Quality Assurance, Business process transformation and Internal Audit. Recognised as Best performer for consecutive years with several achievements in leading role at HBL. Awarded with ‘Best Unit Head’ for the year 2016 and 2017 in view of outstanding performance and playing a key role in establishing Business Risk Review function. Currently heading risk review function within internal audit at Habib Bank Limited that has a global presence over 25 countries spanning across four continents, largest domestic multinational bank of Pakistan. Business Risk Review is an independent unit reporting to the Audit Group of HBL that assesses the overall quality of the bank’s loan/investment portfolio domestic and international, measures the degree of risk, compliance with the lending/investment policies & procedures/regulatory requirements and determines the relative collectability of loans/investments. BRR reports to the Chief Internal Auditor who maintains a liaison with the President/CEO and reports directly to the Board Audit Committee (BAC).
