Life is almost impossible without communicating with other people and communication is almost impossible without knowing a shared language. The logical result would be, “life is almost impossible without language.” People can enjoy language learning as a lifelong adventure and merit or suffer from it as a lasting obstacle and demerit depending on what path they choose. In my opinion language teachers' mission is to help their students to discover the shortest, fastest, and easiest way of success and to pave the path for them. If I can help one student feel the joy of learning, I shall not live in vain. I have experienced teaching English for almost two decades. All through this period I have never stopped studying and researching in the wide realm of language teaching. In spite of the fact that there are lots of limitations and problems in the educational system of English teaching in my situation, I have done my best to improve the undesirable conditions and survive as an effective up to date teacher. And of course this has been really challenging and demanding. To me, language teaching with its inherent creative element is partly science and partly art, inspiration and intuition. I’m a kind of person who enjoys searching, problem solving, and innovating. At present, I’m involved in doing some researches on learning strategies and techniques as well as developing some materials for teaching and testing reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar based on the communicative approach.
