I am an Experiential Events Director who creates and implements innovative global events for organizations by incorporating client requirements with flawless execution. My success in this role is based on an unflappable nature that allows me to turn on a dime when the unexpected occurs, as it inevitably does. When last-minute program changes necessitated a change in venue, I responded quickly to relocated 200 conference attendees arriving in the US from Europe without incident. Weather conditions can wreak havoc on event planning. A major storm forced the preeminent US golf tournament to be rescheduled on my watch. I had to develop flexible backup plans for a global meeting held in the Caribbean to respond to sudden weather-related developments. An unfortunate reality is the need for event planners to deal with man-made disasters. I was responsible in the aftermath of the terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon for accounting for each participant and then providing alternative housing and transportation options as a critical part of the organizer response. During the seven years I worked at Trinity Ventures, I managed a portfolio of 13 global incentive travel events and large-scale conferences annually for Fortune 500 companies, as well as a sporting association, determining project viability and sourcing vendors. Since 2018, when my employer closed, I took leave to care for a family member, but have actively volunteered at the ASPCA, Meals on Wheels, and an urban beekeeping initiative.
