I completed my Diploma in Nursing from Aga Khan School of Nursing in 1999. Thereafter, I gained quality practical experience from Aga Khan Hospital in different specialty ICU, Recovery, surgical Day Care and Oncology. Utilizing my knowledge while working in these areas I boosted my interpersonal, leadership and management skills. In July 2005 I have completed my Bachelor of Nursing from Aga Khan University School of Nursing with a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.40. Since then I was working as a Clinical Nurse Instructor & then Head Nurse at Medicine Unit of AKUH, under taking responsibility of Special Care Unit, respiratory Isolation & critical patients. I was a part of Code team and member of CPR committee & CVC committee. I worked as an auditor includes; documentation, crash cart & tracer or JCIA internal audirot. In 2012 Joined Memon Medical Institute as Nurse Manager of ER, ICU, OBGNY, NICU, NES and being manager responsible for all clinical & administrative, in addition was a front line player of Safora incidence. In 2015 Joined Dar-ul-Sehat hospital as Director Nursing & principle College of Nursing with the expectation to improve quality & safe patient care, even to start School of Nursing. In 2016 Memon Medical Institute Hospital approached me for the position of Associate Director in order to start SON but with Generic BScN & Community midwifery even get affiliation from university for degree program before getting Nursing council approval. Beside this definitely responsible to ensure better care, strategic planning, budgeting and much more. In 2017 joined AKUH as Nurse Manager for service line again that was a big challenge to improve quality of care with lot of hope, major role played in JCIA audit, internal JCIA surveyor, front line worrier in COVID-19 pandemic. In DEC 2020 join South city hospital as COVID area & ER Isolation Manager to manager or take care all clinical & administrative issues pertaining to COVID. With over 21 years of immense nursing experience, I have established myself as a competent nurse. I have had numerous opportunities of involving myself in patient care, staff education activities, management cores international visits and research to enhance my personal growth.
