Zeinab Daouhany Bovy

I worked for 6 years in Morocco as project and pre-sales manager. I was leading a team of engineers to provide professional electronic security solutions to secure prisons, highways, airports, embassies, industrial companies, palaces, schools... I created strong partnerships with international pioneers in this domain such us (Axis, Bosch, Milestone, Dell, Cisco, Genetec, Comnet,…), I made sure that we all have the training and certificates needed for successful projects. We were also able to develop solutions to respond to our clients specific needs. I gathered important entrepreneurial knowledge that allowed me to launch a company “Milestore” in 2018, the core of my business was to support local producers by creating designed living space. Cooperating with a team of innovative people, an interior architect, a designer and an accountant I was able to create a structured company. I subcontracted the furniture production. I was managing the projects advancement, the finances, analyzing the investment and studying the long term goals of the company. In 2020 I had to move to Belgium to join my husband. I kept managing the company remotely but COVID19 changed the formula, so I sold Milestore. Moving to the Flemish side of Belgium made my passion for innovative technology grow because the scene is evolving rapidly, however I had one major obstacle, the language. I had to learn Dutch not only to understand and to be understood but also to immerse myself in the Belgian culture and to connect with similar minded entrepreneurs. I am currently learning Dutch in PCVO, a school based in Hasselt, and on my way to C1 level. In parallel I am doing sessions with mentoring@work to accelerate the integration learning and to grow my network. I am also developing with my partner a business in the Virtual Reality sector, I provide a clear vision about the sustainability of the business in the long term by studying the market and analyzing the targets. I am looking forward to the next experience and willing to put all my knowledge to create innovative ideas and to develop my potential within a team.
