I am efficient, thorough, dedicated and dependable. I have been in a supporting role to Engineers, Project Managers and Heads of various sections, within different departments at the City of Cape Town. I have 28 years overall experience in executive support, operational processes, and administrative processes where research, analytical thinking, managing and co-ordinating processes are the order of the day. I am currently employed at Centralised Facilities Management as an efficient Principal Facility Officer. My key functions includes: Overall monitor and general upkeep of facilities, the infra-structure within these facilities and the supervision of external contractors, staff an dfmaintenance teams, as well as Tenant Management and related services. Financial control of capital & operational funding, Project Management, Contract Management, adhere to Supply Chain Management processes & procedures, Tender initiation, compilation & adjudication, monitoring , ensuring correctness of finance processes according to the MFMA, proposals of space allocations, managing Asset & Fleet acquisitions, managing overall capital and operational projects within the allocated sub-area, managing of Occupational Health & safety challenges within the area, as well as managing, monitoring, implementing and administering the EPWP projects. I have obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management, an Advanced Diploma in Business Management and a Higher Certificate in Facilities Management. I have successfully attended various small courses over the years, which includes, Basic Project Management, Diversity Management, Fundamental Energy Management, Occupational Health & Safety, amongst others. I will utilise my excellent administrative skills, knowledge of the business, my outstanding operational skills coupled with my above-average computer skills and being a people’s person, to become an asset in your department.
