I am currently employed as the Senior Payroll Officer at Century Yuasa Batteries. I am considered highly skilled & experienced as a payroll officer and administrator with a well-developed skill set and proven results in consistently meeting K.P.I’s. I commenced my career with Century Yuasa Batteries, spending 4 years in the accounts department before being offered the position in the Payroll department which I now hold. Primary accountabilities include processing payroll (organising and paying wages on a monthly basis for Australia (two companies) and New Zealand. This includes overseeing weekly wages for Australia and New Zealand), month-end reporting for superannuation, payroll tax, providers such as the Child Support Agency, the IRD in New Zealand and Headcount & Turnover reporting for the company. My well-developed communication and interpersonal skills enable me to relate to people from the shop floor to the board room. I have a flexible, diplomatic and approachable nature which serves me well when managing complaints and enquiries. This includes liaising and working cooperatively with team members. I also recognize the importance of developing strong relationships with team members, management, customers and other key stakeholders, and that this plays an integral part in the success of any business operation.
