I'm a freelance digital marketer, and full-time NFT builder. What does that mean? Honestly, I'm still finding out. Since graduation, storytelling has been at the heart of all my work – from writing an article to developing a pitch deck, and even down to designing collaterals, it's all about getting a message to your audience. While my last former employment was as a Content Manager, stepping into NFTs and Web3 has made me rethink everything I know about digital marketing. In a way Web3 makes so many things feel obsolete. A couple of months to rank for keywords? In that time, the space has moved on to the next hype or trend. Optimising your CPC/CPM? There's a lot more nuances in the ideal audiences you are trying to capture. Building a community or your tribe? It's a whole other world with Discord. This space has made me rethink 'strategic' altogether, and to know that it's a blessing to have formal experiences but not be encumbered by these traditions and biases. It's about staying active, nimble, and accepting that no one knows it all. Most importantly, it's about being receptive to new changes.
