Drive the project teams to achieve results * Defines Area philosophy, activities and milestones. * Monitor and enforce compliance with the company's 'Quality' policy and procedures * Continuously oversee work, analyses production methods and production performance * Monitoring subcontractors' performance to ensure project plans and milestones are met and addressing performance issues * Demonstrates creativity, foresight and maturity when resolving project issues; proposes alternative solutions where established systems are unable to overcome project problems. * Identifies, approves and supervises overall project plans, contractual arrangements, schedules, activities and milestones. * Reports status and progress of the Area to Construction Manager. * Monitors Area progress and costs. Through identification and evaluation, makes recommendations regarding workload, manpower, costs or scheduling. * Assists and is actively involved in the projects goals in relation to health, safety and environmental performance; monitors staff compliance to these goals.
