While I was working with one of the Local companies, BrandItCulture, as a Graphic Designer, where I had to work as part of my summative assignment,I had to design a logo for one of my clients I had recently. He wanted a logo and an event poster for his upcoming business. After the planning process on paper, I had to scan the final idea for his logo onto the laptop, then I had to Illustrate the logo using Adobe Illustrator, where I had to play around with the specific colours that he wanted for his logo. For the poster, I first had to source out images to use on Photoshop, as the background of the poster. Then I had to take the final background artwork to Indesign, where I added all necessary details regarding the event. Graphic design is my career path because I love art. Art, is who I am. I am a creative, I enjoy the process of starting a new idea from scratch, I enjoy solving people's problems creatively. I'm energetic, I can think on my feet, I am dedicated and ambitious. I promise to give 110% every chance I get. I am one of a kind. I'm current working as a clothing stylist at Kingsley Heath in Sandton. I would really appreciate the chance to prove myself and grow within the company.
