While I was at NYU Wagner, I focused my studies in finance and data related classes to further develop my skill set in these areas. My specialisation is International Policy, focusing in finance. My academic and career interest includes social impact investment, and an opportunity to include policy, finance, and data in a role.My career thus far has been in risk and compliance in relation to insurance. In addition, I have experience the education sector in the UK, working with some of London’s disadvantage school children who were underachieving. In addition, I have worked internationally with refugees in Chios, Greece, while implementing a holistic approach to education. I provided classes including Financial Literacy, English, Health and Sanitation and CV and Resume skills. I also designed my syllabus to incorporate students characters, abilities and interests. Additionally, I facilitated group-based decision making decisions in the NGO’s youth center, to improve student refugees conflict management and non-violent communication skills. While consulting with the UNCDF, I was instrumental in creating a self-financed plastic waste management system. Therefore, I have robust understanding and expertise of the world of sustainability finance.Currently I am working in Strategy and Operations at a healthcare start up.
