The Accountant role is responsible for the financial aspects, as well as the overall management of the procurement process, and stores services and facilities of the mine. Is responsible to monitor and control all plant and mining costing in terms of rentals and consumables, and has to manage and control all capital expenses. To develop and implement policy and procedures/systems for the materials and procurement function, to ensure professional and cost effective services are rendered. This position is also accountable for the payroll function at the mine, and has to oversee and control payroll activities and systems for all 5 operational areas at the mine. An Experienced Administrative Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the mining industry. Project Estimation, Cost Engineering, Strong program and project management professional with a Diploma in Accounting and Business focused in Accounting and Business/Management from ACCA.
