I am a data driven , creative and motivated engineer exploring new and innovative ways to automate the systems with legacy process and new technology. I have an experience of 11 years working with financial institutions like American Express and Royal Bank of Scotland. I have profound experience in designing data warehouses and model different ETL/ELT application. I started my career at Infosys Technologies, a software consulting and services company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Working in the Java architecture team as a full stack developer, I got a chance to envision, design and develop several performance driven, scalable software solutions. I gained experience in design patterns and various java frameworks for Royal Bank of Scotland's major customer facing applications. In 2011, I moved to American Express projects and moved my learning to oracle application OFSAA for Basel Reporting and regulatory delivery. I got promoted to a technical analyst and had to lead a team of 20+ college hired engineers to a successful delivery. My responsibilities included envisioning, design, automation, delivery, innovation and streamlined CI/CD pipeline. I had automated the CI/CD pipeline by building shell scripts for backend migrations and execution of the code with the click of a button. I also automated the BI publisher and OBIEE reports to be generated using automated process, accessed through external tools and saved as a BLOB in oracle for reusability and faster retrieval. Automated OBIEE reports with functionalities like data refresh on selection of prompts, prompt dependancies and various other functionalities which were not present in OBIEE 10G but introduced in later versions. In Summer of 2013 I moved to Phoenix, Arizona area to work with the data sourcing team of Basel and regulatory reporting. Apply my data-warehousing expertise and ETL knowledge to consumer and deliver all the data available for the organization. Gaining banking and financial knowledge to deliver faster , cheaper and reliable solutions. Till march of 2021 I delivered multiple solutions with excellent management and managed a team of 30+ developers. Since 2021 March i have been working on modernizing data processing Java, Flink, streaming and rule based processing. Delivery of this project has reduced the data delivery from few hours to few minutes.
