The name “Emily” means “industrious,” and it describes this one perfectly. I thrive on building community and gathering new skills. Never shying away from a challenge, I count website designer and artist, poet, instigator, idea generator, coach, cheerleader, people collector, connector, and curator of new systems and solid values among my greatest roles and accomplishments. A former blogger and writer for publications like 1859 : Oregon and TravelOregon, Craftbeer.com and Oregon Beer Growler, I enjoyed a five year stint as the Executive Director for a global non-profit beer education association for women. Trained as a mediator, I spent two decades serving mentally ill and elderly clients as a care coordinator and professional fiduciary. Fortunate to have been providing concierge and assistance services, creative services, graphic design and more to Pacific NW clients for over twenty five years in a variety of different ways, my current coaching engagements, graphic and web design and marketing clients bring me great joy. An unapologetic believer in the power of people to do good things with hard work and magical thinking, I am also a voracious reader, a joker, a mama, an animal lover, DIY fanatic, chicken admirer, hopeful goat shepherdess, and a joyful liver of life. I enjoy assisting local small businesses with support services, and feel lucky to have forged relationships with talented people up and down Oregon’s coastline, as well as across the United States with work in design, coaching and non-profit educational outreach.
