Experienced Independent Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the museums and institutions industry. I have been at the forefront of strategic cultural change in the North West for over 30 years: museums and galleries across the region have changed dramatically and are now seen as leading the way for culture and for regeneration; I am proud to have played a key part in this. From starting my career, creating a learning programme from scratch in a small artist-led organisation, through a range of nationally significant institutions, to creating a unique arts centre , I have been in at the start, defining and delivering a series of ambitious new programmes, new organisations and new buildings. I have forged a reputation for innovation and inclusiveness in each role. I have the personal presence to create a strong identity, credibility and profile for the initiatives with which I am involved, and the communication skills to convey a powerful vision to a broad range of stakeholders, groups and individuals. I am able to bring people together to push forward change, leading new ways of working on a large scale, through strong relationships of trust. Since starting my Consultancy at the beginning of the year I have immediately secured change-making contracts: devising and delivering transformation programmes and organisational review in leading regional organisations.
