One of my key skills is the strong drive to always achieve design excellence, in an architectural pragmatic approach by understanding the client, the design team and the contractor, but also trying to integrate a conceptual approach based on thorough research. Coming from a country where the climate allows life on the street to be integral to the everyday routine, I am fascinated in finding different ways to regenerate the public realm in Scotland and in how it could improve people’s lives, whole communities and the built environment. I came from Galicia (Spain) to study at the Mackintosh School of Architecture. I graduated in 2002 (B.Arch Dip.Arch) and I joined Gordon Murray + Alan Dunlop Architects in October 2003 & gained the RIBA part III accreditation in 2005. In December 2011 I was offered a position as Senior Architect at Holmes Miller Architects.
