Kasemsit was born and raised in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2011, he received a Bachelor of Economics degree (First Class Honor with a gold medal) at Chulalongkorn University, the most prestigious and oldest universities in Thailand. After graduation, he started working as a policy analyst at the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB), which is under the Prime Minister’s Office. Due to an energetic person, Kasemsit obtained a Master of Arts Program in Labor Economics and Human Resource Management in 2014. Regarding to working experience at the NESDB, Kasemsit’s main responsibility is to analyze the government infrastructure project, with the key focus on developments of affordable houses for the low and middle income groups. In addition, he was a part of a team preparing and providing policy recommendations and policy options of real estate and infrastructure development projects for the NESDB Executive Board’s consideration. Kasemsit is an optimistic and friendly person. When having a free time, he always go to the gym or a library. He is a bookworm sometimes. His favorite sport is soccer.
