Twenty years of military experience. Primarily working with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of computer controlled electronic communications and radar systems, Information Technology Systems, Maritime Navigation Systems and Tactical Satellite communication systems. Poised and competent in a deadline driven environment with demonstrated ability to think and react under high stress situations. Possess excellent team-building and leadership skills with unsurpassed initiative, a take charge attitude and keen technical knowledge. I've spent the past 12 years working in the Naval Special Warfare Community as a Communications Technician, Instructor and Manager,this expierience has taught be be a pro-active Manager, Team player, and forward thinking leader. The expectations placed on the community greatly assisted me with becoming a confident technician and leader in a fast pace and real world consequences environment. Served as the acting electronics/communications (C4I) Department manager while opening a new training organization, successfully established the foundation for all future courses. Developed all necessary instructional guidelines, curriculum, and training exercises for Personal and Craft Tactical Communications, ISR, also was responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and inventory of over $35 million dollars worth of equipment ranging from NSW Craft, Tactical Vehicles, administration, and electronics and communication electronic equipment with 100% operational readiness for missions and training. As I transition to the Civilian sector as well as relocate back to Northern New England, I look forward to finding a new Career that provides the same level of self empowerment, self responsibility and continues to challenge me.
