I am an OB/GYN physician working work in Florence, Oregon. I retired from the Air Force after 29 years. My career has spanned the enlisted world then a break as a dependent wife. I graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Nursing in 1990 and re-joined the military. In 1994, I began medical school at the Uniformed Services University and then completed my residency in OB/GYN in 1998. As Chief of Medical Staff at the end of my career in the Air force I oversaw all things clinical in our medical group. It was my pleasure to mentor our physicians and help them maneuver their careers into a satisfying experience. Currently in my civilian career I enjoy being able to practice medicine without being pulled away by senior leader duties as I was in the Air Force. I am able to concentrate on my patients and our small community.
