Mike Murphy

Michael P. Murphy has over 30 years of professional experience in providing operational improvement and financial consulting services. He specializes in performance improvement engagements on behalf of investors and boards of directors, as well as debtors and creditors involved in operational and financial turnarounds. Mike has been with AlixPartners for over 11 years and established the San Francisco office and was a leader in the development of their Asia Pacific practice. Mike is the local market leader for both the San Francisco and Hong Kong offices. Mike has served in a variety of executive officer roles for public and private companies, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Restructuring Officer and Chief Financial Officer. He has extensive experience in a broad range of industries, including high technology, retail, media, real estate, and consumer products. Mike currently leads the Asia Pacific Turnaround Restructuring Services and Financial Advisory Practices of AlixPartners and has worked on multiple matters in Asia Pacific throughout his career.
