I`m an HR Professional who has worked in a variety of industries including retail,transportation, healthcare and hospitality. During my career I have had the opportunity to serve as an HR Generalist as well team supervisor and have been a Director. In addition to managing the day to day activities of an HR Department I have also helped to craft employee handbooks, policies and procedures and have also dealt with collective bargaining units and contract negotiation, contract interpretation and the grievance process. I also have expertise in payroll, benefits, various types of leaves and accommodation requests, as well as 401k. I am always seeking to refine my skills and expand my knowledge. I am currently completing my Doctorate in Business Administration to complement my MBA and various certifications. I`m also able to share my knowledge and passion for teaching by being a faculty member at two leading institutions of higher learning in NY and NJ. I also facilitate courses for SHRM.
